Krishnamurthy Sriram, the Chieft Operating Officer of WIPRO UNZA (MALAYSIA) Sdn Bhd says that this is the fifth year WIPRO UNZA Malaysia is organising the "Spirit of WIPRO Run" and this year also marks the 10th anniversary of the run globally. The WIPRO Cares funds collected from joint contributions and efforts between employees and the company by means of donations in cash or in kind have benefitted various causes. Last year, the funds collected was contributed directly to employees whose immediate families were the victims of the east coast devastating floods in Peninsula Malaysia and massive earthquake in Nepal.
These corporate social responsibilities (CSR) have started with donation to sponsor cost of Bahasa, English, Mathematic tuition teachers for orphans at Trinity Children's Home on 23rd August 2014. The week after, Wipro Cares visited the Damai Disabled Person Association Malaysia to sponsor 3 computers and 1 printer to facilitate the disabled on self-learning. On 6 September 2014, Wipro Cares continue to spread the charitable deeds at Pusat Harian Kanak-Kanak Ipoh to present the sponsor cost for study tables and chairs.

· Distributed to 48 Nepalese workers whose family were affected by the earthquake
